Mike Agostini
Mike brings power vocals and a tremendous range opening the opportunity for the band to draw from all of our musical interests. From Zeppelin to Radiohead, Neil Young to Eric Clapton, Agostini gets the job done in style. Mike was a founding member of Mama's Garden, and we are psyched he is back on stage in Erie after a long hiatus. Without Mike, we couldn't go to many of the places we soar as Cosmic Rhythm!
Eric Louis
Originally from Erie, but gaining his performance wings out west, Louis returned to Erie in 2010 and soon after joined in casual jams with friends including Vigs, Josh, and Alan. Eventually CR went public in 2013, and we have survived a few changes. With the current line-up the band is now writing and ready for anything. With influences stretching the scope of psychedelic and classic rock, Eric searches for the jams and tracks that stand out. He hopes to inflect these with his unique style and driven guitar riffs: funky, jazzy, always rock and roll.
Nick Vigs
Cucmumber Jones founding member Nick Vigs brings the percussion highlights and occasional rhythm guitars crucial to classic rock jams. Without Nick, the sound just isn't Cosmic Rhythm. Vigs has been performing in Erie since the early 90s, and was with Jimmy 13 just prior to founding Cosmic Rhythm. He is the host with the most, and our occassional sound man!
Josh Maloney
The band has really enjoyed and grown since the return of (founding member) Josh on rhythm guitar! Josh brings an edgy rhythm guitar that establishes a firm foundation to our music. We were formed for exploration, and Josh adds fuel to the research vessel. Josh has a rock and roll sensibility that grounds us firmly in the blues, and becomes a spring board for jamming and extending ourselves. Josh adds backing vocals, and has played around town with Cucumber Jones and recorded a CD with Pyrrhic Victory.
(alumnus) Alan Chaffee
Alan was the first guy we called when forming Cosmic Rhythm back in 2012. He has a resume of energized live bands locally and even national touring acts. Alan has a voice all his own, and lays down a deep groove . Rock steady and intuitive, Alan's playing opens all possibilities and keeps us all engaged.
Bill Burke (alumnus)
We are super honored to have Bill join us from time to time in the line-up since summer 2019! A lifelong friend of Eric, Bill has been performing in Erie and Washington, D.C. as a solo artist for over two decades. He has several CD releases of original compositions, and has also toured with Big Leg Emma among other successful acts. Bill is a monster bass player, and his generosity has propelled the band.
Don Caplea
Don Caplea Music is a host of all items Don! We felt so fortunate when Don came to play with us for the first time. Over the couple years since his arrival, the band has expanded our territory within the Grateful Dead catalog and well beyond. Don can hear it and play it like very few musicians around. He is a stage warrior and has played all over the region in bands over the past three decades.

Kenny Schwab
The throne is a tough spot in Cosmic Rhythm, and thanks to Kenny, we have entered a new realm of possiblilities as he is a deeply talented and trained drummer. He spent a couple years at IUP studying and playing in the marching band, and toured four summers in the Lake Erie Drum Corps, traveling the land and honing his chops. Kenny is steady and always brings us back to "one" with style and on time! He and Josh both are veterans from Pyrrhic Victory.
